MD THINK Human Services Project

Visionary Technology Consultants has been awarded a contract to work with the State of Maryland to deliver Endpoint Security guidance on the Maryland Total Human-Services Information Network (MD THINK) project. MD THINK is a cloud-based data repository that will make it easier for the State to share information across departments.

VTC will be using cybersecurity methodology to protect the State’s information and software located on private cloud infrastructure services. Working directly under the State's Chief Information and Security Officer (responsible for Agile infrastructure between governance and the policy program), VTC will provide guidance to the policy group and prepare the security team for future external and internal scans. In addition, VTC will analyze internal and external networks for weaknesses and completes weekly vulnerability scans to determine if previously identified vulnerabilities have been updated, patched, or otherwise hardened.
